A.I. Cheat Sheet
Discover the ultimate cheat sheet that will help you integrate AI into your business
AI revolutionized the way we do marketing!
It’s no surprise to anyone how important Artificial Intelligence has become in our day-to-day lives. When it comes to our business, it plays a deeper role, especially in marketing, and I’ll show you how.
7 in 10 marketers (71%) expect generative AI to help eliminate busy work and allow them to focus more on strategic work (Salesforce.com).
Marketing was revolutionized by enabling unprecedented levels of data analysis, personalization at scale, automation of repetitive tasks, and the generation of content for highly targeted campaigns. AI can provide you with enhanced customer insights, it can predict future trends, and optimize the entire customer journey from lead generation to sales and retention.
It’s estimated that generative AI will save marketers 5 hours of work per week – which amounts to over a month per year (Salesforce.com).
Here are 3 practical ways you can integrate AI into your day-to-day marketing activities
76% of marketers use AI for basic content creation and 76% for writing copy (Salesforce.com).
1. Using AI for content creation & translation
Creating content from scratch is a very time-consuming task. To build up a good article might take from 3 to 8 hours, depending on the complexity of the topic. Luckily, now you can generate articles for your business using AI.
Besides generating the articles, you can also build your content strategy for the full year based on the specifics of your business, generate relevant keywords for your content, find the right visual assets to back it up, and build the best structure so that your audience finds it easy to read and translate articles/assets to various languages.
2. Using AI for brainstorming & generating new ideas
Everybody knows that the best ideas are shaped when brainstorming, and two heads are better than one. But what can you do when you’re a one-man show?
71% of marketers use AI to inspire their creative thinking (Salesforce.com).
No problem, AI’s got you! There are plenty of techniques you can use to generate new ideas or help you shape & improve the ones you have. For example, Microsoft has a couple of recommendations, such as: Asking specific questions, Doing role-play, Making lists, Exploring “WHAT IF” scenarios & Creating a mind map.
These are all great ideas to start with, but what’s most important when brainstorming is customization and trainability. If you don’t take these two factors into consideration, the ideas generated by AI might just be too generic and not properly tailored to your brand.
3. Using AI for decision making
For example, let’s say you have various formats for a media plan, either different budget scenarios, a different approach in the media mix, or a small change in your target audience. To decide which scenario works best for your brand, you can upload a couple of previous post-buy reports, along with all the media plan scenarios, and have the AI tool
*Disclaimer: Make sure you have a paid version of AI software, instead of the free version, when you introduce data about your brand or business. Otherwise, you might cause an involuntary data breach incident.
Make sure you NEVER introduce sensitive data into AI tools. Check out my article about 10 types of data you should never share with any AI tool.
What are the AI tools that can support your business?
When choosing the right AI tool for your business, you can either go for a specific tool, that only has one spectrum of functions, or you can go for generic AI tools, such as: chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com, claude.ai, llama.com, etc.
These are the tools you can pretty much use for any purpose you want. These won’t be as accurate as a niche tool, but if the budget is tight (I’m all about budget optimization), it’s better to have a more generic AI tool subscription that’s capable of answering to all of your business’ needs, including decision making.
AI tools for content writing & translations
There are tools such as writer.com that can help you write content from scratch. All you have to do is feed it the right keywords (check below an AI prompt example for that). Another tool that can help you with content writing is hyperwriteai.com & copy.ai.
To correct your grammar and improve the wordings, you can use grammarly.com. another tool you can use to proofread your content and check if it might be flagged as AI-generated content is undetectable.ai.
AI tools for static/video asset generation
When it comes to asset generation, I recommend you get a graphic designer that can write very specific and technical prompts, but is also a master in video & static image manipulation tools (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects aso.) to be able to check and fine tune the content.
The best AI tools for asset generation are canva.com – that has both an AI image generator tool and an AI video generator tool.
Adobe also has an AI tool for static image, video and vector graphics called Firefly that’s worth checking out. Other honorable mentions you should try out are Leonardo, Pollo & Midjourney.
Here are some prompt ideas to help you integrate AI into your business.
Writing an article for your website/for link-building actions.
I am a [digital marketing agency] offering [influencer marketing, SEO, strategy, and social media services /selling X]. I want to write a 1000-word article directed to a [B2B] target audience, [business owners with limited internal marketing resources, who are looking to externalize marketing services], about how to integrate AI into their day-to-day marketing activities. Please use a [technical vocabulary] while explaining marketing concepts so that they are easy to understand for anybody. Keep a [professional] tone of voice, with a hint of [clever and funny]. Make references to real-life problems that [entrepreneurs/business owners] might encounter in their marketing efforts. Please make sure to use relevant keywords for SEO optimization, such as: [AI, artificial intelligence, AI marketing, AI marketing tools, AI marketing tools for small businesses, Chat GPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama, AI content writing aso.]. When writing the article, please use the following content structure:
- Catchy title (don’t make it clickbait)
- Catchy headline, to describe the content of the article in a short phrase.
- Introduction to the article.
- Split the article into 3 to 5 sections, each describing a problem the consumer might have, with a short description describing the solution
- Conclusion highlighting the importance of making AI work for your business and externalizing your marketing services.
If you have other channels you’d like to promote your article on, such as social media or eCRM, you can ask AI to write some copy text to help you do that.
Write some copy proposals I can use to promote the article on the following channels: social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest) and email marketing (newsletter). Use emojis & make it friendly and engaging.
Generate a motto for your business.
I’m a [digital marketing agency] offering the following [services for businesses that don’t have in-house marketing teams or resources to conduct their own marketing actions: social media, marketing strategy, influencer marketing, training, and storytelling]. The name of the [agency] is [Pop Up Digital Marketing] and the unique selling proposition is [the hyper care I bring to the brands I work with, the over 10 years of expertise in digital with various industries, and the ability to tell a brand’s story through personalized storytelling and tactical inbound marketing activations]. Propose to me a catchy slogan for my brand.
Most of the time, the ideas won’t necessarily be spot on, but they will give you enough raw material and a good playground to build the perfect concept for your business. Remember, curation is key when using AI.
Generate assets for your business.
I’m a [digital marketing agency] and I just [wrote an article on the agency’s website about how to integrate AI to your business to help small business owners who don’t have internal marketing teams to run their marketing activities more efficiently]. Please generate a square image (1:1) for a digital marketing agency promoting the article. Make it suitable for Social Media channels like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and X.
Make sure you have a graphic designer at your disposal to fine-tune the assets because the technology is not quite there yet. As you can see below, the suggestions MidJourney gave me have typos, random words in other languages, and are not a good fit. This doesn’t mean there is no potential there for fine-tuning.
You can also use another image as support to help the AI better understand the direction you want to go with your assets. For example, if you have a display banner campaign on Google, you can ask AI to generate different versions of one banner focusing on improving the CTR, by giving you various variations of the CTA button such as positioning, color, style etc. This could really help you boost your CTR (click-through rate) in media campaigns.
Watch-outs when integrating AI into your business

Always keep in mind curating your content
When using all these AI tools to create articles, make sure you have in mind a quality check done by a human, because AI-generated content tends to be lower quality than that written by human copywriters. Also, Google algorithms seem to notice when content is AI-generated. It doesn’t penalize it, but it's proven to be lower quality vs human-written content, which will always be prioritized.

Use a paid version of AI tools for your business
I understand budget is tight, but AI tools is not an expense to be cut without consequences. In order to have full customization and personalized solutions, you need to go for the paid version when it comes to your business.

Never reveal sensitive data about your business
In order to avoid causing an involuntary data breach incident, make sure you never add sensitive data to the AI tools you're using. This might include personal information about your employees, market share, case studies, market research aso. Let's not forget that AI is an open source tool and that information might end up in the wrong hands.
